Over 300 immigrants were saved off the Libyan coast on Monday by the Libyan Coast Guard, according to the International Organization for Migration (IOM) on Tuesday.
The IOM said that over 1,500 irregular immigrants were saved off the Libyan coast so far in 2020.
It added that "Most migrants still end up in overcrowded detention centre where they remain vulnerable to further risks".
The IOM said that there are around 650,000 irregular immigrants in Libya currently, many of them lack medical care and basic needs.
